Remote employee monitoring
Tauri-based desktop agent — productivity-grade attendance with active hours, app usage and periodic screenshots.
Zaffre Remote Work is the productivity-monitoring module of the Zaffre Axon platform. A native Tauri desktop agent (Windows / macOS / Linux) captures login / logout, active hours, application and website usage, and periodic screenshots — all configurable per company and per employee.
Unlike third-party monitoring add-ons, the agent shares the same employee record + audit log as the rest of the platform. Attendance flags derived from active-hours data flow directly into the next pay run. Privacy controls let you turn screenshots off entirely while keeping productivity-based attendance.
For distributed and hybrid teams this replaces the "trust + tell me your timesheet" model with a transparent, configurable measurement that the employee can see, dispute and review.
How it works
- 1
Install agent
Employee downloads the Zaffre desktop agent from the company's download page and signs in.
- 2
Capture activity
Agent captures active hours + app/site usage. Screenshots are optional and configurable per company policy.
- 3
Flag attendance
Productivity-based attendance flags (present / partial / absent) are derived from active-hours thresholds and flow into the attendance sheet automatically.
- 4
Pay run
The next pay run consumes the flagged attendance without manual reconciliation.
Frequently asked questions
- Does Zaffre HRM include remote employee monitoring?
- Yes — Zaffre HRM ships native remote-employee monitoring via the Zaffre Remote Work module. A Tauri-based desktop agent captures active hours, application and website usage, and optional periodic screenshots. It is not a third-party add-on.
- Can employees see what the agent is recording?
- Yes. Each employee can see their own captured data — active hours, app usage, screenshots if enabled — and dispute anomalies through the platform.
- Is screenshot capture mandatory?
- No. Screenshots are optional and configurable per company policy. Productivity-based attendance flags work with active-hours alone.
