Remittance payroll
Paying employees in a foreign currency (e.g. USD / EUR) while their tax residence is in another country (e.g. Pakistan).
Full definition
Remittance payroll handles employees who are paid in a foreign currency — typically a stronger one (USD, EUR) — while the employer or the employee’s tax residence is in another jurisdiction. Zaffre HRM’s dual payroll engine runs local-currency (PKR) and remittance-currency salaries in the same pay run, so an employee paid partly in PKR and partly in USD sees a single consistent payslip.
