HRIS (Human Resource Information System)
The system of record for employee data. Where the source of truth for "who works here, in what role, since when" lives.
Full definition
HRIS (Human Resource Information System) is the system of record for employee data — the database under the HR function. It stores the canonical version of each employee’s identity, role, department, manager, start date, status (active / on leave / offboarded) and contact details. Every other HR module (payroll, leave, performance) reads from the HRIS. Zaffre HRM uses a single tenant-scoped HRIS that every operations module (procurement, projects, helpdesk) shares — that is what makes "modules genuinely linked" possible.
